HOH Lu`au 2012: Stories of the Lei

All year I’ve been anticipating to dance for Lu`au. At first I thought I couldn’t because my other commitments for Sini-GANG got in the way, but they were still willing to let me perform. After PCN, I decided to quit Sini-GANG for the rest of the year so I can focus more for Lu`au. Even though it was a month before the event that I decided to actually dance for this, all the practices were worth it.

Lu`au was sooooo much fun, but it went by waaay to fast. I definitely still need work on my hula skills, but I’ll use this experience to learn from it. I wouldn’t spend this weekend any other way. (:

My impatien and Kevin’s geranium that we grew for seven weeks in our biology lab. They’re both mine to keep at home now! The petals on my flower glimmered in the sunlight. (:

Step #2 complete.

I can’t believe I’m actually going for it, I’m actually going to try and get a Bachelors of Arts in Behavioral Neuroscience! Last quarter I got into the Biology Phase I major, and just now I got into the Psychology pre-major! Next year I have to apply for the actual major, hopefully I get in!

It’s kind of scary, I’m going to take 300-level classes next quarter. Overview of Research Methods, Intro to Molecular/Cellular Biology, Organic Chemistry. Surprisingly, even though I say that I’m scared.. I’m always fine. I talked to my adviser today and he can really tell I like Chemistry and Math (which I do.. to some extent). He told me he KNOWS I’m going to well in my biology class. I’ll just make it happen next year. But THANK GOODNESS I only need to take one lab class next quarter.

But yaaaay, another step closer to my goals! (:
